I went to sleep; I had a crazy dream; I looked around; ev'rything was clean. I don't understand how that could be, cuz I'm as messy as a person can be Why am I suff'ring such a gruesome fate? I don't know how much more of this I can take Some scary monster did this thing to me; wake me up so I can get free I wonder what's gonna happen to me? How did such a situation come to be? I wonder what's gonna happen to me? Scary monster, scary dream I'm shaking in my boots Ev'rything is way too clean Scary monster, scary dream Everything is way too clean...wooo At last it's morning; I can open my eyes, but with the sunlight comes a nasty surprise The midnight cleanliness was more than a dream; I'm a victim of a vile scheme I wonder what's gonna happen to me? How did such a situation come to be? I wonder what's gonna happen to me? Scary monster, scary dream I'm shaking in my boots Ev'rything is way too clean Scary monster, scary dream Everything is way too clean...oh yeah [spoken] On the abnormally mostly spotless floor, I spy the tell-tale marks left by my demon guest The one who left my house in the condition I abhor, And I know my house has been repossessed! [sng] By a scary monster, yeah, yeah I wonder what's gonna happen to me? How did such a situation come to be? I wonder what's gonna happen to me? Scary monster, scary dream I'm shaking in my boots Ev'rything is way too clean Scary monster, scary dream Everything is way too clean...oh yeah Scary monster, scary dream; I'm shaking in my boots Ev'rything is way too clean Scary monster, scary dream; I'm shaking in my boots Ev'rything is way too clean Scary monster, scary dream; I'm shaking in my boots Ev'rything is way too clean Scary monster, scary dream; Everything is way too clean…. wooo! The big moon shines from a blackened sky On a parade of my ancestors passing by There's great granny Jane and her husband John He died before my daddy was born How did they get here; what do they want Are they looking for someone to haunt How did they get here; what do they want Are they looking for someone to haunt The shrieking of ghosts fills the night with fear The cackling witches on broomsticks appear Then, riding the wind, the banshees arrive And the specter of death with his menacing scythe How did they get here; what do they want Are they looking for someone to haunt How did they get here; what do they want Are they looking for someone to haunt It's Halloween, ghouls and goblins and ghosts abound It's Halloween, skeletons are rising out of the ground Where did they come from; why are they here Are they looking for someone to fear them How did they get here; what do they want Are they looking for someone to haunt Where did they come from; why are they here Are they looking for someone to fear them How did they get here; what do they want Are they looking for someone to haunt Where did they come from; why are they here Are they looking for someone to fear them How did they get here; what do they want Are they looking for someone to haunt Copyright 2020 Vicki Morrison Goble All rights reserved

(Whispered: I'm scared. It's so dark Sung: Something's coming. I can hear it. Running, running. I'm so scared. I don't see it. Where's the light? Something's coming, in the night. Can you hear it, can you hear it? Howling, screaming, striking fear? Something's coming, something's coming After me. Something's coming. I can feel it. Shivers running up my spine. I don't see it, but I feel it. Something's coming in the night. Can you hear it, can you feel it? Howling, screaming, striking fear. Something's coming, something's coming After me. Can you hear it, can you feel it? Howling, screaming, striking fear. Something's coming, something's coming After me. (Whispered: It's so dark.) Copyright 2017 Vicki Morrison All rights reserved

Mama, don't let them bury me Please pick me up and carry me Far from the cemetery. It's dark in here; I can hardly move And I hear digging outside Someone is whistling a mournful tune I wish I was still alive Mama, don't let them bury me Please pick me up and carry me Far from the cemetery. My prison is moving; I feel a bump They're putting me down in the ground Above my head I hear a thump I try to cry out loud Mama, don't let them bury me Please pick me up and carry me Far from the cemetery. Far from the cemetery. Copyright 2020 Vicki Morrison Goble All rights reserved

Bare Bones 02:44
His bones conceal a tale no bard could ever tell Of how he laughed and loved; of how he fought and fell. He died a hero; he was the last king of his kind, But the truth gets buried if the storyteller’s blind. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pay and display. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pray and decay. He fought for honor and he cut their banner down. They heard his dying breath in every English town. And so they butchered him while traitors stood aside. Yet good men straight and true stayed with him as they died. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pay and display. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pray and decay. The shattered corpse of England's King displayed for all to see. His bones will keep their secrets ’til the truth can set him free. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pay and display. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pray and decay. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pay and display. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pray and decay. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pay and display. Bare bones! Bare bones! We pray and decay.
